Barbara joined Moonbasa in 2014 to launch Moonbasa’s US Brand Mall, a new platform for US fashion brands to enter China’s market. Her extensive experience and knowledge as an apparel and textile expert in international business development has her well positioned to build this new export model.
Prior to joining Moonbasa Barbara was a business development consultant for apparel and textile export associations and consulates including Turkey, Thailand, Ethiopia, Brazil, Israel, Poland, Great Britain and the US. Earlier in her career Barbara acted as advertising fashion director of Women’s Wear Daily for 15 years working with major apparel brands including Guess, Juicy Couture, Levi’s Dockers, Nike and Skechers and developing special projects for WWD. She has a BA in communications from University of Buffalo, New York.
Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Wei Ping Bo, Catherine, is the Chief Operating Officer of Moonbasa in China since 2013. She joined Moonbasa in 2006 during the launch of the company as the Operation Director and set up the customer call center, logistics, delivery system and national supply chain. In 2008 she was appointed Senior Operation VP of Moonbasa Since 2015 she has been responsible for China’s domestic third-party brand management and contributed her expertize in serving brands entering China’s market through the Moonbasa platform. Ms. Wei holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade from the Central South University in China. Before joining Moobasa, Ms. Wei worked in the export business from 1997 to 2005 and has extensive experience in overseas market development and foreign business management.
